Bianco G
Grecanico Blend
Predominantly made from old bush vine Grecanico, this Bianco “G” is made from the best Grecanico in their vineyards. Organically grown Grecanico grapes were hand harvested from numerous old vineyards, situated high on the north face of Mt Etna, during the second half of September. The average age of the vines is 80 years old and the altitude of the vineyards is between 800-1100 meters above sea level. Half the Grecanico was macerated for one week on skins, being foot trodden several times. The rest of the fruit was whole bunch pressed together with some Carricante from Milo and the small quantity of grapes harvested from our vineyard in Contrada Nave (NW Etna).
