Auksinis Tardif

100% Sauvignon Blanc

Both “Vendange Tardive” and “Sélection de Grains Nobles” (100% botrytis), this wine is made from 60-year-old vines of Sauvignon Blanc grown on clay-limestone soil. A small part of the grapes from the Auksinis vineyards was left hanging on the vines for another 3 to 4 weeks (early November harvest) until the grapes completely affected by ‘noble rot’. The wines then fermented until completely dry with no sweet sensation but an enormous aromatic volume and an exceptional intensity.
